Darling Cellars Sparkling Rosé is a non-alcoholic rosé sparkling wine with a light salmon red colour and aromas of ripe strawberries and sweet plums. The long finish leaves you wanting more. This delightful non-alcoholic rosé is a blend of 96% Sauvignon Blancand 4% Grenache grapes.

Darling Cellars' South African wine is made from grapes from vineyards on different slopes and soils. Cool nights and afternoon afternoon breezes cool the vines, helping to develop subtle fruity flavours. The soils range from weathered granite to deep and well permeable red earth, making the non-alcoholic wines of this continent particularly interesting.

This non-alcoholic rosé sparkling wine is fermented at 14°C for 18 days. The wine is aged on yeast lees for 2 months to increase its complexity. Alcohol is removed gently in vacuum and at low temperature. This preserves the structure, colour and aromas of the alcohol-free wine. Finally, carbon dioxide is added to the base wine to create full-bodied bubbles.

The Darling Cellars range of non-alcoholic wines focuses on the fruity and varietal characteristics of the grapes. The grapes are harvested from dry-grown vineyards in Darling, where the vines are not supported by iron rods but grow as bushes. 

Serve well chilled as is - or enjoy with salmon salad, fresh sashimi or yellowtail ceviche, for example.
